This is a catalog of our top projects completed through partnerships and donations. Global English Learning
English is a widely spoken language worldwide. Therefore, teaching non-English speaking refugees English provides them with more business, education, and employment opportunities globally.
RAI provided basic protection to refugees against COVID 19 by converting our tailoring class into a facemask producing unit.
Together with Xavier Project, we constructed a safe, top-of-the-art creche for small children filled with toys and a resting area within RAI's compound. Parents pick up their kids soon after finishing classes.
We Share Solar
Kakuma experiences 12hrs of strong sunlight through out the year except on occassional seasons where rainfall occures. This makes solar energy a readily accessible source of power to those with panels. The We share Solar trained students to assemble their own solar kit for domestic use and show them the importance of innovation.
Considering the hot and dry climate in Turkana, the installation of fans, celings, tiles, and dry wall in our classes proved to be a necessary requirement to create a cool learning environment for our students.
